Our guide Arantxa was terrific. She kept up a constant flow of conversation through the tour. She was quite funny and engaging and did a wonderful job telling us about the history, the food, and Spanish culture. It was a really enjoyable evening!

My tour guide Sam was amazing! We walked around to different spots for local drinks and food that were absolutely delicious. Alongside the food/drinks we got to see some historic sites and were provided with the history behind them. 100% recommend this tour to anyone coming to the area, especially if you’re looking for authentic food!

This is the third time I’ve booked this. We have been blessed with great guides, but this time we met Sam. She took service and professionalism to the next level. You should ask to have Sam be your guide and you’ll not only hear the details of the food and drinks, but also the history of Madrid. Well done Sam!

How much food and drink is included?
Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
What kind of tapas will I try?
The lineup varies with the seasons and availability, but expect a mix of Catalan and Spanish staples—things like *butifarra* sausage, crema catalana, fried fish, croquettes, and more. Every dish is carefully chosen to reflect local traditions and flavors.
What drinks are included?
Each stop includes a traditional drink—like vermouth on tap, crisp ciders, and quality Spanish wines. If you don’t drink alcohol, no worries—there are non-alcoholic options available at every stop.
Is this a walking tour?
Yes, this tour was designed for walking at a moderate pace. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes. If you have mobility limitations, please contact our Guest Experience team in advance so we can plan accordingly for your tour.
