This was a great tour. Tapas is intimidating, and this helped make it a little less so. Sam was an excellent guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Our stops were all different and interesting with both calm and busy settings. The food and drinks were good. Sam also recommended other places to try other popular dishes. It was a fun. I would recommend this tour.

Sam was a warm and wecoming guide who created an inclusive atmosphere in the group. She was very knowledgeable about both food and the history of Madrid, so we learned a lot, had fun and tasted some delicious food and drink. A fun evening that I'd recommend to anyone.

Great tapas tour! Our guide Ricardo was great, easy going and knowledgeable! He seemed to be very interested in food and providing a great experience at our tapas stops. We visited historic and new tapas locations. There was plenty of food and drink for everyone! This tour was a great intro to tapas, knowing what to order and how to order, etc.

Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
What kind of tapas will I try?
The lineup varies with the seasons and availability, but expect a mix of Catalan and Spanish staples—things like *butifarra* sausage, crema catalana, fried fish, croquettes, and more. Every dish is carefully chosen to reflect local traditions and flavors.
What drinks are included?
Each stop includes a traditional drink—like vermouth on tap, crisp ciders, and quality Spanish wines. If you don’t drink alcohol, no worries—there are non-alcoholic options available at every stop.
Is this a walking tour?
Yes, but it’s a gentle stroll with plenty of breaks. Along the way, you’ll explore Madrid’s historic center, including the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and hidden streets in the Habsburg Quarter.
