We had an excellent time with Jose. He was knowledgeable, kind, funny and just a pleasure to be with. He took us to exceptional spots, found room for us and explained both the food, drink, culture and history. We loved it. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to experience tapas and meet new people at the same time.

We had a great time even in the pouring rain. Arantxa is fantastic! She bought us umbrellas and kept the tour going! We learned a lot about Madrid and ate some amazing food and had delicious drinks. Highly recommend!!

How much food and drink is included?
Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
What kind of tapas will I try?
The lineup varies with the seasons and availability, but expect a mix of Catalan and Spanish staples—things like *butifarra* sausage, crema catalana, fried fish, croquettes, and more. Every dish is carefully chosen to reflect local traditions and flavors.
What drinks are included?
Each stop includes a traditional drink—like vermouth on tap, crisp ciders, and quality Spanish wines. If you don’t drink alcohol, no worries—there are non-alcoholic options available at every stop.
Is this a walking tour?
Yes, but it’s a gentle stroll with plenty of breaks. Along the way, you’ll explore Madrid’s historic center, including the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and hidden streets in the Habsburg Quarter.
