This was the best experience of our trip. Maria is a truly special guide and her knowledge and enthusiasm is exceptional. It was extraordinary to be in this museum before opening time, without the crowds, and alone in the galleries. Perfect length of time to get a curated look at things without feeling overwhelmed with the volume of art. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide was Davide. He was excellent. This tour is one of the best things we did in Madrid. Being in the museum without the crowds and hearing about the history of Madrid and the significance of the masterpieces was excellent.

Our guide, David, was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and super organized. David gave us a comprehensive education about art history, Spanish politics and history, and Spanish art. Getting a tour before the crowds arrived was priceless. I highly recommend this semi private tour.

Enjoyed a tour with David. We were a family of 5 Americans and there was another American couple. Great private tour. David expertly explained the mixture of Madrid history and the art, focusing on Bosch, Velasquez, El Greco, and Goya. This is our second time doing this. Would do it again third time. David’s English was excellent and the individual headphones worked well.

David was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about Spanish history and art. Throughout the tour, he was friendly, kind, and enthusiastic. He did a great job of explaining the relevant history of Spain and how the art related to the history, telling a chronological story throughout the museum tour. It was so worth it to be in the museum before the crowds came. As soon as the doors open, people flooded in and it was more difficult to hear or follow our guide (although totally possible until the end of the tour). Would definitely recommend!
