Excellent
Eloquent and enthusiastic, Sara gave us a wonderful tour, full of historical facts and events, pointing out the important details about the works and places we saw and we got a greater appreciation for the David in particular and Michelangelo’s other works in general. We’re seniors and for us the tour had a good pace, so we covered a lot without rushing or feeling overwhelmed. I recommend this tour for anyone.

Frederico was experienced and knowledgeable and provided an interesting tour. I would have liked to have started a bit earlier than 9am, as the Academia was already crowded

What is the dress code for this tour?
Due to the religious nature of the Cathedral, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. You can bring extra coverings (scarves, etc) to put on just before entering the Cathedral. It is also prohibited to enter the Cathedral and climb to the Terraces and Cupola wearing flip-flops, slippers, clogs and shoes with heels.
What can I bring inside the Florence Cathedral?
Visitors to the Cathedral must use mandatory luggage storage (Piazza Duomo n. 38/r) to leave the following items before entry: suitcases, backpacks, and large or medium-sized bags.
