Best of Florence Walking Tour With David & The Duomo

Very good and informative walking tour which allowed us to discover Firenze. The guide (lady) was so nice and explained all the landmarks. Loved the explanations of the David in the Galleria Academia 💖 Thanks very much!!!

This was the best tour of our entire vacation in Italy! Our tour guide was really super. She knew so much about the artwork. And she gave us a great overview of the history of Florence. Some people said we could just go into the museum and listen to a podcast about the artwork, but I think having this person really made our day special. Be aware that on Sundays, you cannot enter the Domo because it is being used for church services. That was somewhat disappointing, and I wish it had been stated on the itinerary.

This was a great city tour of Florence to see the David and Duomo. Our tour guide Alma was knowledgeable and friendly. We started our tour walking to the museum to see the David and other pieces of artwork. The guide helped us understand Michelangelo and other artists at the time. We explored the Cathedral including a copy of the David showcased outside where the original was located. I recommend this walking tour for anyone wanting a better understanding of the artwork and history.
