Do I need to bring my ID?

Yes. The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and match the names on their ID/passport. Name changes are not permitted. All guests (including children) must bring a government-issued ID/passport on the day of their tour. Failure to bring an ID may result in security staff denying entrance to the monument.

This tour was fantastic and so informative. Paulo, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the site, culture and events of the time. With deep respect for the lives that were lost and without overwhelming us with numbers, he was able to deepen our understanding of Pompeii's culture over 2000 years ago, their daily life and society. Even though we visited in July and the park was very crowded, he was able to show us the important sites, and more, while avoiding the crowds. The small group size (another family and us) made it easy to ask questions to develop a deeper understanding of what we were seeing. Worth every penny.

We had a great, passionate, knowledgeable guide in Vincenzo, really enjoyed it and learned a lot more than we would’ve done on our own and didn’t have to navigate the streets to know where we were! Definitely recommend.

Illary (Hillary) was incredible!!! Oh my god, the place completely came alive. She was so charismatic with a great sense of humor, and was so knowledgeable, I could have listened to her for another 3 hours!! I can’t reccomend her enough. This is truly one of the best parts of our Italy trip. Thank you Hillary!!

Vincenzo Di Mauro our guide was incredible. So knowledgeable and he really looked after our group of 4. He answered all our questions and waited for us to take photos along the way. His passion and information about Pompeii made the 3 hours fly by. This site is truly incredible, a real time capsule of life in 79AD, Vincenzo really brought it to life x
