Excellent
Excellent walking tour. It was a first for the wife and I. We were shown and got to experience all different types of excellent foods. We were taught the whys and what for on different items and locations. Alex our guide was not only patient with our questions but has a great personality and warmth that made us feel like we were with an old friend. He was the "icing on the cake"! In addition, he helped all of us on the tour with giving us a map of places he recommended. If you are new to Spain like we are, take this tour!

Excellent
My 14-year old son and I took the Ultimate Barcelona Food Tour with Hector. He was an outstanding local guide, who taught us about Catalan history, gastronomy and unique things about the local areas and vendors we visited. We were in a very small group and had plenty of time to ask questions, take photos and enjoy the food. We would both highly recommend Devour and Hector. We’ll return for the afternoon tapas tour when my son is older!

Hector made this an exceptional tour. His explanations about the food and history of the places we visited were thoughtful and engaging, and his humor added a nice touch that kept things interesting. The food selections were all delicious and offered a great variety at each stop. Overall, a highly recommended tour.

This tour explores El Born and Barceloneta—two of Barcelona’s most historic and atmospheric areas. Expect cobblestone streets, local markets, and seaside charm.
Is this tour suitable for kids?
Yes! Families are welcome, and the tour includes tastes and stories kids often love. Please let us know in advance about any dietary needs or preferences.
What makes this different from other food tours in Barcelona?
We don’t just feed you—we connect you. With over a decade of experience and deep local ties, we take you into real neighborhood bars, market stalls, and family-run spots tourists rarely find. It’s culture through food, done right.
Is it enough food for a meal?
More than enough—it covers both breakfast and lunch for the morning tour and dinner for the evening tour, with 13+ tastings. Come hungry!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We do our best to accommodate most needs with advance notice. Let us know when booking so we can plan ahead.
How much walking is involved?
The route covers approximately 1.5 km (1 mile) through the Gothic Quarter at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to rest and eat between stops.

Yes! You’ll enjoy vermouth and wine along the way. Non-alcoholic alternatives are always available—just ask your guide.
Do you visit La Boqueria Market?
Nope. We take you to Santa Caterina, where real locals shop—and where we’ve built relationships with the vendors over years.

Never. This tour is capped at just 9 guests, keeping it personal, flexible, and full of connection.
