Absolutely amazing tour, and Eric was an excellent guide!! We learned so much history of the gothic quarter and I was absolutely stuffed full of delicious food and wine by the end of it. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Barcelona, and hopefully you get Eric!

Awesome tour. Ariana was a terrific guide. I learned so much about Barcelona, Spain and the roots of its food. Everything was delicious and special. Ariana showed so much enthusiasm and knowledge. I highly recommend her and this tour.

We were delighted with Valentina and the wonderful history she provided us about the area, as well as her enthusiasm and knowledge about the local food traditions and meanings. We had a perfect evening where she made an effort to include all of us, including one vegetarian and one teenager. It was a great intro to our trip.

Is this tour accessible for people with mobility issues?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers.

How much food and drink is included?
Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
What kind of tapas will I try?
The lineup varies with the seasons and availability, but expect a mix of Catalan and Spanish staples—things like *butifarra* sausage, crema catalana, fried fish, croquettes, and more. Every dish is carefully chosen to reflect local traditions and flavors.
How much walking is involved?
About 2 km (1.25 miles) at a relaxed pace, with frequent stops and chances to sit.
What if I don’t drink alcohol?
No problem! We offer non-alcoholic options at every stop. Just let us know when booking or tell your guide at the start of the tour.
Is this a good tour for history lovers?

We run rain or shine, so bring an umbrella if the forecast looks wet. Most of the tour is indoors or under cover, and the food will keep you warm either way.
