What makes this different from other food tours in Barcelona?
Fewer stops, more depth. Instead of grazing your way through a neighborhood, you'll sit down at each stop and settle in. Every course is part of a progression that tells the story of Catalan food — from its foundations to where it's going. With just 8 guests, it feels like a dinner party, not a walking tour with snacks. What makes this different from a typical Barcelona food tour? Most food tours keep you moving. This one keeps you seated. It's a Barcelona tapas and wine tour built around four stops instead of eight or ten, so you get a full supper and real time at each table rather than a string of quick bites.
Is this tour private?
Yes! Your family will have your guide’s full attention—and flexibility to move at your own pace.
How many people can join?
Groups are listed at up to 8 guests, though there's no fixed cap since pricing is per person from the third guest onward. Larger groups can typically be accommodated.
How much food and drink is included?
Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
Where does the tour take place?
In Gros, San Sebastian’s hip, locals-loved neighborhood known for its rising stars in the food scene. It’s where innovation lives and real culinary magic is happening.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We can accommodate vegetarians, and the final restaurant lets you choose your main course. Because of the curated, multi-stop format, we can't guarantee vegan or celiac diets due to the risk of cross-contamination across venues. Tell us when you book, and we'll confirm what's possible.
What's included in the price?
All food and drinks across 4 stops, plus an expert Devour guide who brings the evening together. You'll taste vermouth-hour classics, seasonal tapas, a refined main plate, dessert, and 5 paired drinks including Catalan wines, vermut and cava.
What time does this tour start and end?
The tour begins at 6:00 PM and runs approximately 3 hours. You'll finish in time to enjoy the rest of your evening in one of Barcelona's liveliest neighborhoods.
Is there a lot of walking on this tour?
There's some walking between stops, but the four stops are close together and most of the evening is spent seated at the table. The old town's streets are flat but cobbled in places, so wear shoes you can walk in comfortably.
Can guests with mobility needs join this tour?
This tour is wheelchair accessible, though it isn't currently suitable for guests with limited mobility, such as those recovering from injury or using crutches, given the walking distance involved. We're happy to talk through details before you book.
