Q. What inspired you to become a guide?
I love being a bridge between cultures. To me, explaining the history of Lisbon and meeting new and foreign people from around the world makes my job as a guide extremely fulfilling.
Q. What do you love most about Lisbon?
Lisbon is the most beautiful city I have ever seen, without a doubt. She's a lady with a strong personality and a unique flavor. What I love the most about Lisbon is that it is not about what you can see, but about what is hidden beyond the obvious instead.
Q. What's your favorite story to tell on tour?
There's too many to choose from! If I have to pick one, it would be how Portugal changed the modern world.
My mum says I started talking like I do today at the age of 1
I am an astrologer and love how astrology explains the quality of the time we are living
I practice yoga and dance flamenco
Q: Best time of year to enjoy Lisbon?
Spring. The weather is warm and people are out on the terraces again enjoying being outside.
Q: What about the culture in Lisbon should visitors not miss?
Lisbon has a very unique coffee culture centered around community and gathering with friends or family. We also have our own local versions of espresso and lattes you have to try.
Q: What are some typical foods and drinks in Lisbon?
A good red wine from the Alentejo region and, of course, codfish.
