While you won’t find white tablecloths at this establishment you can expect the same elegant and high-end dining fare associated with the Chef’s other restaurants. Enjoy the ever-changing menu with thoughtful, sustainable sourcing, featuring organic produce whenever possible.
John’s of 12th Street, East Village
For a restaurant established back in the turn of the century, John’s of 12th Street has some surprisingly tasty vegetarian options on its classic Italian-American menu. If you’re craving those Sunday Supper vibes, order some Garlic Bread before diving into their saucy Eggplant Parm.
John’s also serves a crave-worthy New York style pizza with regular or vegan cheese. Make sure you plan your visit as their pies are only served Sunday through Thursday.
Little Beet Table, Gramercy Flatiron
A sister restaurant by the same group that brought fast-casual chain, The Little Beet, Little Beet Table slows things down at this full-service “vegetable-forward” restaurant. The thoughtful menu has dishes for everyone, and is exceptional at making accommodations for those with dietary restrictions. Everyone can enjoy their meal at this vegetarian restaurant in NYC.

Superiority Burger, East Village
While currently on break, Superiority Burger (119 Avenue A) is home to one of the best veggie burgers in the city. Relocating within the East Village, we can expect the new location for the original hole-in-the-wall takeout spot to feature their namesake house-made burger and beloved signature sides like the Burnt Broccoli Salad.
Superiority consistently delivers dishes layered with flavor while perfectly showcasing local and seasonal veg. Check their Instagram page for updates on the reopening and their latest specials.
