During the warm summer months there is one important feature that you can’t forget about when choosing a hotel in Seville…
Choosing a suitable hotel is one of the hardest things while planning your vacation, and if you are traveling to Seville when the weather is warm, a pool is an important feature to consider! Here are our favorite hotels with swimming pools in Seville.

1. EME Cathedral Hotel
With its sleekly designed interior and central location, the EME Cathedral Hotel is hard to beat. Its entrance is located right in front of the Cathedral in Seville’s historic centre. The roof top has a terrace bar, and although the prices are on the luxurious side, it has second to none views of La Giralda tower – if we said that this fact alone didn’t occasionally find us enjoying a cool glass of vino blanco in the bar here, we would be lying! Also on the roof terrace you will find the swimming pool and solarium, and here you are treated to the same spectacular view of La Giralda.
2. Hotel Doña Maria
Hotel Doña Maria is perfect for those who are after a more classic style of hotel– think old art, brass bed heads and tassels, and is another one of our favorites which is perfectly located right by the Cathedral and Santa Cruz neighborhood. The roof terrace bar is one of our favorite spots to spend an evening on a roof top in Seville, for both its amazing views of the Cathedral and La Giralda and reasonably priced drinks. Of course, the roof top pool, which provides you relief from Seville’s hot summers, shares the same amazing views as the rest of the terrace.
3. Hospes Las Casa Del Rey De Baeza
Located on a quiet backstreet in the centre of Seville, Hospes Las Casa Del Rey De Baeza is a wonderful hotel where the pool happens to be one of their highlights. The building and design of the hotel is full of character, and in typical Andalusian style it is located around a central patio. The roof top terrace has a wonderful pool with views out over the rooftops of Seville, as well as a solarium area for relaxing on the sun beds. Finding a place to cool off here for the afternoon is our idea of perfect summer’s afternoon in Seville!
4. Hotel Casa 1800
Hotel Casa 1800 is a hotel that has it all. A central location, right next to the Cathedral and on the edge of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, friendly staff, beautiful rooms which cleverly combine modern and classic style, and of course, a great pool for those hot summer months. One of our favorite boutique hotels in the city, it also happens to be located right opposite one of the best local bars in Seville, Bodega Santa Cruz, which means you won’t have to go far to sample some of Seville’s best traditional tapas!
5. Fontecruz
This hotel is hidden in the Santa Cruz neighborhood in a former 16th century Andalusian palace, and is a great spot for those looking for a little romantic escape while being right in the centre of the city. We love that Fontecruz offers the best of both worlds, as Seville’s monumental sights such as the Cathedral and Alcazar are only minutes walk away, but you can also stumble across authentic local bars right on the doorstep of the hotel. This is another spot that has a great rooftop terrace, with a leafy courtyard that is home to an excellent roof top swimming pool, perfect for calmly cooling off after a hot day’s sightseeing!
Hi, do you know whether you can pay to use any of these swimming pools without being a guest? Thanks!
Hi, Alice. You can pay to enter the Fontecruz Hotel swimming pool for the entire day, making use of the pool, sauna and it also, if I’m not mistaken, includes a drink. From what I understand it ranges from €25 to €35. You do have to ring ahead and reserve your spot and you can find numbers on the website to do that.
Hope this helps!
