Alicia gave us a great tour and was so enthusiastic to explain the history of Lisbon and the food we tried! She is a very kind and positive person and we enjoyed our time with her very much. <br /><br />Be prepared to walk some stairs and inclines as Lisbon is very hilly! But the views are worth it!

Raquel Azedo was wonderful! She is smart, well informed, and enthusiastic about the subjects of Fado, history and food. She has a pleasant personality and cares about the subject matter and the experience of the clients. I will recommend her to everyone visiting Lisbon.

Excellent tour of the Moorish neighborhoods of Lisbon and (surprising!) history of fado with fun stops along the way. The food, wine, and ginjinha are all top notch. The fado dinner was a very cool experience. Felt like a very good mix of locals and tourists, plenty of Portuguese folks singing along (when invited by the singer) and several family birthday dinners. Helena was a terrific guide, bringing a wealth of knowledge to contextualize the importance and impact of fado, food, and suadade for the Portuguese people and their history.

The ancient sites on this tour are unfortunately not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Additionally, due to the tight nature of the catacombs, those with claustrophobia may want to consider another tour.
