What makes this different from other food tours in Barcelona?

Fewer stops, more depth. Instead of grazing your way through a neighborhood, you'll sit down at each stop and settle in. Every course is part of a progression that tells the story of Catalan food — from its foundations to where it's going. With just 8 guests, it feels like a dinner party, not a walking tour with snacks.
Is this a private tour?

Yes! This is a fully private Madrid tapas tour, led by your own local guide and tailored to your pace and preferences.
How many people are on this tour?

A maximum of 10 guests. We keep it small so the pace stays relaxed, your guide can actually get to know you, and it feels more like traveling with friends than following a flag.
How much food and drink is included?

Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
Where does the tour take place?

In Barcelona's historic center, starting near Santa Maria del Mar and moving through some of the city's most atmospheric streets and hidden corners. Every stop is within walking distance, and the route itself is part of the experience.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We do our best. Vegetarian requests can usually be met, but due to the curated format and the nature of Catalan cuisine, options for vegan or gluten-free diets are more limited. Let us know when you book and we'll see what's possible.
What's included in the price?

All food and drinks across 4 stops, plus an expert Devour guide who brings the evening together. You'll taste vermouth-hour classics, seasonal tapas, a refined main plate, dessert, and 5 paired drinks including Catalan wines and cava.
Is this a walking tour?

There's some walking between stops, but the distances are short. Most of your evening is spent seated. Comfortable shoes are still a good idea — Barcelona's old town has its share of cobblestones.
What time does this tour start and end?

The tour begins at 6:00 PM and runs approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. You'll finish in time to enjoy the rest of your evening in one of Barcelona's liveliest neighborhoods.
What is the cancellation policy for private food tours?

Private food tours may be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before the tour date. Thank you for understanding.
Can I customize the route or food stops on a private tour?

Our routes and tastings are thoughtfully planned in advance. Each stop has been chosen for its craft, character, and place in the neighborhood’s daily life. Keeping the route intact allows the experience to unfold smoothly without rushing or waiting. That way you can simply arrive and enjoy a table, seat, or bite waiting just for you. While the route itself stays the same, the rhythm is yours. Your guide adjusts the pace to suit your group.
