Seville is a city that comes alive in the evening. It could almost be said that without experiencing Seville by night, you may not experience the real\u00a0Seville.<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The city\u00a0is filled with small bars where you can grab a\u00a0tapa<\/a>, along with a glass of vino<\/em> or cerveza<\/em>, but when you want to relax with a drink in hand later on the evening, when you are looking for the areas with a bit of nightlife<\/a>, where do you go? Here is our guide as to where to drink in Seville.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Alameda<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Alameda de Hercules<\/a> is a popular spot for many people in\u00a0Seville. It has a reputation for being the spot\u00a0for\u00a0Seville’s alternative crowd, but in reality, you will anyone and everyone in the bars in this area —\u00a0it really is a place where\u00a0anything goes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bars with outdoor terraces line either side of this long boulevard, making it the perfect spot for an evening drink which can go on well into the night. After 2 am when most of the bars close, there are some late night options in the surrounding area with music pumping for the party crowd. There is a bit of everything going on here!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Calle Betis<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This street which runs along the riverfront in the Triana neighborhood<\/a> is another favorite for an evening copa<\/em> (mixed drink)\u00a0or cerveza<\/em>. There are plenty of bars with outdoor terraces lining the sidewalk along the river, so it’s often a case of just finding a free table and taking a seat. Otherwise, you can try our favorite, La Tertuila (Calle Betis, 13)<\/em>\u00a0which is\u00a0famous for its\u00a05 euro mojitos. Here you can grab a drink, then find\u00a0a\u00a0spot on the bench\u00a0outside where you can watch life go by on the riverfront.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Alfalfa<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This area is the heart of the nightlife in the center of Seville, and also home to some delicious tapas<\/a>. Head to Plaza de Alfalfa and Calle Perez Galdos\u00a0to visit one of the many bars in the area, which become filled with locals socializing with a drink in hand, both in the bar and out in the street in front. For a really unique\u00a0experience, one that could only be possible in Seville, stop by Garlochi (Calle Boteros, 26)<\/em>, a Semana Santa<\/em> (Holy Week) bar where the religious decoration is borderline kitsch.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Roof Terrace Bars<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What better way to enjoy a drink than with an amazing view to go with it? Seville has many great rooftop bars<\/a> offering cocktail, beer, and wine, with priceless views<\/a>. There are many good options, but we definitely have some favorites which include the terrace bar at Hotel Do\u00f1a Maria<\/a>\u00a0(Calle Don Remondo, 19)<\/em>, for views of the Cathedral and Roof at Casa Romana hotel<\/a>\u00a0(Calle Trajano, 15)<\/em>, for views of Las Setas.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
