Standing between the neighborhoods of Santos and Bairro Alto<\/a>, this street and its surroundings are quickly turning into one of the city\u2019s creative corners. Some of our favorite shops around this area include El Otro Tigre<\/a>, +351<\/a>, 27 Lisboa<\/a> and Nomad Goods<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just take a walk through Pr\u00edncipe Real<\/a>, and you\u2019re bound to find something you like! We suggest visiting Embaixada<\/a>, a 19th-century palace converted into a unique shopping gallery, featuring Portuguese brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yes, Rua Augusta is full of touristy restaurants and international shops, but, amidst it all, a few traditional shops remain. For shoe shopping head to Sapataria Lord<\/a>, for fabrics try Londres Sal\u00e3o<\/a>, and for bags go to Casa Canad\u00e1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From clothing to furniture, there\u2019s a wide choice of vintage shops in Lisbon! For furniture, we recommend Cantinho do Vintage<\/a> in Marvila and the Vintage Warehouse<\/a> in LX Factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether you\u2019re looking for a specific item or want to revamp your whole closet, there\u2019s a shop in Lisbon for that! Do you need a new pair of gloves? Luvaria Ulisses<\/a> has been making them by hand since the 1920s. What about a new hat? F\u00e1brica dos Chap\u00e9us<\/a> is the best place to look! As for clothing, our top favorite brands are Vintage Bazaar<\/a>, Bird on a Wire<\/a> and the 39 Concept Store<\/a>. These cater mainly to women, so if you want menswear, we recommend Slou<\/a> or UP!town Lisboa<\/a>. Of course, you can always go to the main shopping centers Vasco da Gama or Colombo, but we prefer the experience of going into a smaller store and chatting with the owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are many bookstores in Lisbon. Some, like Livraria Bertrand, have been around for ages, while others are recent additions. If you want to eat surrounded by books visit Ler Devagar<\/a>; for travel lovers, Palavra de Viajante<\/a> is a must-stop, and even if you don\u2019t have kids, the illustrated books from It\u2019s a Book<\/a> will look great on any shelf!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Colorful art prints, wooden toys, and handmade ceramics, the coolest shops in Lisbon have a bit of everything. Here you can buy anything from CDs to old furniture, and second-hand clothes.
