“On my last day in Barcelona, after seven weeks in Spain, I took this tour. I just wish I’d taken it at the beginning of my time in Barcelona. Valentina led a small group of us through the Gothic Quarter, down small alleys and into squares, most definitely off the tourist track, where virtually no one else was wandering. She taught us so many fascinating things about the history of the area, Barcelona and Spain in general. And of course there was the food and drink! So many delicious, traditional foods, local vermouth, and regional wines, enjoyed in bars and restaurants that have been in business for generations. We were all bursting at the end. As a solo traveler it was especially fun to experience an evening of tapas/bar hopping with new friends. I highly recommend this tour – at the beginning of your trip to Barcelona! Worth every penny!
