Our tour guide, Sabrina, was very animated and funny, and clearly familiar with the history. She told the history in an engaging way, inviting us to imagine ourselves as courtiers walking through the palace. She also helped us navigate the crowds with expert calm. A great experience to see Versailles and the gardens (the Hameau de la reine was my favorite) with extra info and guidance from a guide. Would absolutely recommend!

Great day at Versailles with Walks! We were greeted on time outside the metro station by our guide as scheduled. Our guide explained how the day would go and made sure we made it onto the train and to Versailles without any issues. As a guided tour, we entered through the group entrance without delay rather than standing in the much longer line for everyone else. Before entering we were able to use the quiet and clean restrooms in the tour guide office in the building off to the right of the plaza, which was nice after the train ride. We had a nice tour with our headsets, with plenty of time and explanation before being left on our own to explore the gardens, with easy-to-follow instructions back to the RER to return to Paris. This is the second time I've used Walks in Paris and I've also done Walks in Italy. Always an excellent experience. Thanks for a great tour, Walks!

Very beautiful palace, great garden, our guide even spoke German (English-language tour) and was very knowledgeable about the history of Versailles. She peppered the tour with lots of funny anecdotes. Very cool!!

A good level of mobility is required and wearing comfortable shoes is recommended. Unfortunately, given the uneven surfaces and transport provided, this tour is not suitable for those requiring wheelchairs currently.
