Our Guide, Marina was a local and historian and very passionate about art and Venice. We learned so much from our tour with her and she pointed out things we would have never seen if we did it on our own. Highly recommend

Highly recommend this. Susan was terrific guide. By being able to get into the doge’s Palace before most people could access it was amazing and we were still able to get into the cathedral very early. Susan‘s knowledge and passion for the subject matter was very meaningful. The next day there were many times I wished that she was around so I could ask her questions about what I was seeing highly recommend.

The 8:00 AM tour time offer a unique and exclusive benefit - enter St. Mark's Basilica before it opens! With just your small group you enter through a side door and spend time alone in the Basilica. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, and created for Walks guests only. The 8:00 AM tour time is the only time with this special access, although the later times are also skip-the-line!
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Could sites close on this tour?
Due to circumstances beyond our control, sites may occasionally close. We make every effort to stay as close to the advertised itinerary as possible but substitutions/omissions may be necessary.
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
