What a fantastic tour! Starting early when the city was quiet was a treat, even during Easter weekend. Roberta was a wonderful guide, full of history and information about the city. She was the best! We have taken multiple Walks of Italy tours, and they are hands down the best quality. You just can't beat the value of the gondola ride, entrance to the church, and palace all on the same tour.

Fabulous tour with Felippo! Learned a ton and really enjoyed it with our 10 and 12 year old! We saw so much of Venice and appreciate all of the history so much more! As a bonus, he’s very funny.

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Is lunch included on this tour?
No. But your guide is always happy to offer you plenty of recommendations for great places to eat in the vicinity that will suit any price point.
Is there much walking on this tour?
Yes, this tour does involve walking. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact the Guest Experience team at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
What's the cancellation policy for this tour?
This experience is refundable up to 3 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
