We booked this tour with Devour as we had done a similar one with the same company in Seville which was excellent. Our guide Mattia was clearly passionate and extremely knowledgable about food, wine, Rome and Italy. We had a fabulous evening sampling delicious food, wine, street food (the delicious Suppli) and gelato. The visit to the authentic Bar San Calisto for a 'spritz' was interesting with its mix of local people and great atmosphere.

We absolutely loved our walking food tour with Andrea! This was our very first activity after landing in Italy, and it couldn’t have been a better introduction to Rome. Andrea was warm, engaging, and so knowledgeable — we learned so much about the city’s history, culture, and food traditions while enjoying incredible bites along the way.<br /><br />The evening felt relaxed and fun, like exploring the city with a local friend. We left full, happy, and even more excited for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend this tour and Andrea to anyone visiting Rome! 🇮🇹

Andrea was excellent!! Would recommend him and his tour to anyone who wants to visit local vendors and support small businesses in Rome. The image below is the white wine and fried cod from Filetti Di Baccalà.

Fantastic tour, great food and a great guide! Andre was kind, funny and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour…but come hungry.
