Is this a walking tour of Paris?

Yes! This is a pastry lover's Paris chocolate walking tour through some of Paris’s most beautiful neighborhoods, including historic covered arcades. We cover about 1.5 km (just under 1 mile). We recommend comfortable walking shoes.
What kinds of pastries will we try on this tour?

You’ll taste a curated mix of iconic French sweets—including
pain au chocolat, macarons, seasonal homemade cakes, bean-to-bar chocolate, salted caramel crêpes, and more. We visit both historic institutions and cutting-edge chocolatiers to give you the full Paris pastry experience.
Is this just… a lot of sugar?

We get this a lot! Yes, this is a dessert-forward tour—but it's carefully balanced, with breaks between tastings, sips of and cider, and stories that give your palate (and your camera) time to rest. Most guests say it’s just the right amount of indulgence.
How many tastings are included?

You’ll enjoy at least 8 food tastings and 3 drinks—enough for a full Roman dinner with drinks, dessert, and aperitivo.
What are the most popular pastries in Paris? Will we try them?

We focus on Paris’s most iconic sweets—croissants, macarons, and artisan chocolates—as well as lesser-known specialties you might miss on your own. The tour was even curated with input from a local pastry chef.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, with advance notice. Let us know when booking and we'll work with our partners to adjust tastings where possible.
Will we be going inside the shops?

Yes! Every stop goes inside—no peeking through windows. We believe tasting is just part of the experience; meeting the people behind the food is what makes it unforgettable.
How big is the group?

We keep the group small, no more than 12 people, so you’ll enjoy a more personal and immersive experience at each stop on this old San Juan food tour.
Is this pastry tour kid-friendly?

Definitely! Families love our Paris pastry tour. While younger kids might not catch every historical detail, the sweets usually win them over pretty quickly.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, this tour route is not fully wheelchair accessible. However, an alternate route can be arranged to accommodate guests in wheelchairs. Please contact our Guest Experience Team to discuss arranging a private tour that meets your accessibility needs.
