We had such a great time with Nika! It was our ‘date night’ so we picked the wine experience. Nika was so knowledgable about wines, we learned about all of the main varieties, what to look for on the label, what to pair it with. She even gave us a recipe for an amazing cocktail that we had all summer long- we can at least pretend to be in Spain through the cocktail until we can get there in person!

Devour tours are almost as good on-line as they are in person. We learned to prepare a delicious seafood paella and cooked along with Arantxa with our pre-purchased ingredients and prep work (which was sent when we booked, and was clear and easy to understand). The connection was flawless along with her explanation and history of paella and the demonstration. The classes are booked as small groups, so there is ample opportunity for questions and interaction. We’re booking more classes. At only 20 euro per “screen” it is an excellent value for an hour-long fun and informative class, and a good alternative until we can book one in person again!

We thoroughly enjoyed the live experience with Enrique, on preparing Sangria and Tapas! It was fun to see the variety of individuals and families participating, some were actually cooking along with host, whiles others like us were enjoying a glass of wine and taking notes – all from the comfort of our homes. I’m incredibly impressed that Devour has been able to recreate the fun and learning and magic of the tour experience, including the small group interaction and also the fantastically knowledgeable passionate local hosts.
