Delicious fried octopus, served in a large pan with a side of potatoes, is one of many reason Vineria is one of our favorite restaurants in Seville!
The octopus at Vineria San telmo, fried in garlic and onion, is one of the restaurant;s stand-out tapas!

Vineria San Telmo

Vineria San Telmo is often mentioned as one of the best restaurants in the city, and justifiably so. Hidden behind the gardens of Seville’s Royal Alcazar, this restaurant was a pioneer in the early days of the modern tapas movement in Seville, and it’s staying power has to be credited to the creative menu that effortlessly combines cherished tradition with modern flare.

A perfect example of a traditional ingredient getting a modern update is the delicious crepe de morcilla, blood sausage from the north of Spain served in a light French crepe – delicious! Even more impressive is the fried octopus, one of the best gourmet taps in the city, served in a rustic style pan – perfect for sharing!

Sahumo is a lovely small restaurant with a personal feel in the heart of the El Arenal neighborhood. Here you’ll find a menu with just the right amount of choices, featuring local dishes with Canary Islands flair, thanks to the influence of the chef’s background.

The wonderful food is complemented with local wines and sherry from Jerez – don’t know these wines are? No problem, the staff will take the time to explain the wines and help you select the best wine for you. If need a unique sweet finish to your satisfying meal, you are perfectly positioned to finish off your evening with an ice cream from one of our favorite heladerías, La Fiorentina, which is located right next door!
